Miami, is a vibrant combination of Cuban, South American, Jewish and old southern hospitality. The weather is sunny, the food is delightful, and the nightlife is non-stop. The city also features a number of free attractions ranging from beaches to art museums. There is plenty to have fun in Miami that for free.

Museums – Miami is a world class cultural center with excellent art, science, and cultural museums. Many of these museums and galleries provide free admission to the public on certain days.

  • Jewish Museum of Florida located in the 301 Washington Avenue, South Beach, Miami, is free on Saturdays and always free for children under 6.
  • Miami Art Museum at the 101 West Flagler Street,¬†Downtown Miami, doesn’t cost entrance on the second Saturday of each month and always free for children under 12.
  • Wolfsonian-FIU Art Museum at the 1001 Washington Avenue, South Beach,¬†Miami, every Friday after 6:00 pm the admission is free and, in a bonus for Beach residents, anyone whose state ID shows they live in Miami Beach get in free anytime and it always free for children under 6.
  • Gold Coast Railroad Museum at SW Miami, free admission at first Saturday of the month and always free for children under 3.


Beach
– One of the best ways on how to have fun in Miami is to spend a day at the beach, and it doesn’t cost you anything. And Miami has the perfect beach for you. Find out which beaches are the best for families, scenery, people-watching, solitude, and nude sunbathing. Best of all, that natural golden tan won’t cost you a dime.

Free Gardens in Miami
– Miami has a few beautiful gardens that provide free admission year-round. Plus, some of the larger gardens offer free admission on certain days each year.

Free Tours – Miami is a fascinating city, and taking a tour is a great way to obtain a further comprehension of its beauty and history. There are several tours that that Miami offered for free.

Jazz – The Museum of Contemporary Art in North Miami serves free jazz concerts on their sprawling outdoor lawn on the last Friday of the month. The concerts happen rain or shine and usually get going around 8pm.

Wine and Cocktails – Free drinks – beer, cocktails, wine and spirits are free of charge on the second Saturday of every month at Art and Design Night in both Wynwood and the Design District. The drinks are free, but it’s always polite to tip the servers.
